    In 1934, a Canteen was established at Railway Institute in Hubli by Late Sri Subbrai Kamat. In 1948, the 1st Kamat Restaurant was established by his younger brother and group founder Late Sri RP Kamat whose expansions later on popularised Kamat as a vegetarian restaurant chain from values inspired by Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi ie Vegetarianism and Non Alcoholism.

    Nice and big enough hall for our function , siting arrangement was also good and food was tasty , we enojyed the function to the fullest !
