Abhinav Mishra launches a very special spring couture collection, celebrating the big fat Indian wedding. Seen through the eyes of his fictional muse ‘mira’. The collection unfolds with 3 special functions; a colourful and vintage high tea, a visually breathtaking sufi evening and a bombastic baraat celebration. The beautiful campaign is inspired by childhood memories and nostalgic instances from weddings designed by Abhinav Mishra at Rani Pink, a wedding decor firm wherein the designer is a co-founder. Decor elements beautifully compliment the collection as rani pink and Abhinav Mishra find a mesmerising unison and each function showcases a set of stunning outfits that will define all spring summer weddings this season.

The line features lehengas and shararas in summery water-colored pastel tones, rich textures and intricate embroideries. A standout feature remains mirror-work, synonymous to Abhinav Mishra ‘s signature style, celebrated and showcased across all of the couturier’s collections.

With a  mission to create glamorous ethnic wear for young globally inclined indian women, who are in tune with the international sensibilities of fashion and style while being honest to their own individual aesthetic. Speaking about his new collection ‘wildflowers’ abhinav said, “built on the premise of the big fat indian wedding and the grand festivities that take place. Wildflowers, our spring couture collection is aptly showcased through a group of young friends at a wedding celebration. Visualised through the eyes of a girl named mira and her friends, i have created a tapestry of stunning bridal wear that naturally compliments each and every wedding function. Beautifully and resiliently, wildflowers are free to grow, much like the free spirited and happy girls that are the focal point of my collection and every outfit that has been designed. The idea is to celebrate life and love and create beautiful memories and this collection takes inspiration from this aspect.”

It had a completely different feel to it and the collection she had with the loved ones was indeed speechless. Band Baaja  (celebration of love)

A feel-good celebration of love. The true big fat indian wedding filled with bright colours. The beginning of forever celebrated with utmost grandeur and aplomb. She pictured her whole life in front of her as the time stood still and she celebrated with everyone who mattered to her. This collection by Abhinav Mishra featured his classic cuts with a new twist across a range of stunning lehengas.
