Abhinav Mishra Hosts First Ever Runway Show to Celebrate New Store Launch & Winter Festive 2019 Collection!

Celebrated couturier, Abhinav Mishra launches a flagship store in the heart of South Delhi’s trendy Dhan Mill in Chattarpur as well as a Winter Festive 2019 collection.

To celebrate this momentous occasion and flag off the festive season, the couturier hosted his very first runway show at Amaara Farms in Chattarpur with a magical and unforgettable showcase. Amid spectacular Awadh inspired decor by leading wedding decor company Rani Pink, Abhinav Mishra presented his winter festive collection with sheer elan. Abhinav’s vision to create a Sufi evening was brought alive by the soulful Nizami brothers and folk dancers. The show was closed by superstar and forever muse Sonam Kapoor, bringing more fervour to a month of festivities.

Through ‘Mehzabeen’ Abhinav has imagined a muse loved beyond boundaries, someone who’s aura remains aglow. The festive season begins with a bright ray of sunshine after the dull season of Autumn. Festivals bring strength, perseverance and courage and Mehzabeen by Abhinav Mishra was inspired by these figments of his imagination. The entire showcase is enveloped in a feel-good celebration of love. The Indian festive season is famous for being filled with bright colours and Abhinav has embraced this rainbow of colours in every ensemble presented in this collection. The beginning of festivities celebrated with utmost grandeur and aplomb is how an evening with Mehzabeen was envisioned and how to it was presented. The collection is a perfect amalgamation of a couturier’s dreams, all coming together to celebrate multiple occasions including a flagship store in South Delhi’s trendy Dhan Mill, Chattarpur.

The new collection features a stunning and wide colour palette across lehengas, anarkalis and shararas strewn with Abhinav’s classic mirror work. It showcases colours across mustard yellow, rani pink, powder blue, ivory as well deep tones of maroon, red, emerald green, sapphire blue and more because a bride is so much more than the traditional, red, a bride is the star of her special day and her wedding is all the festivals of the year in the hearts of her family and friends. This collection is for a day as special as that!

To add to the vibrancy of Abhinav’s vision, the spectacular and timeless jewellery at the Mehzabeen showcase has been specially curated by the legendary house of AKM Mehrasons and the newly launched Kasmia Fine Jewellery by AKM Mehrasons. AKM Mehrasons represents a unique and nostalgic chapter in history as the legendary label has thrived for 80 years. The unique blending of AKM Mehrasons and contemporary jewellery by Kasmia by AKM Mehrasons represents the celebration of the old and the new, this resonates with the brand Abhinav Mishra as well. Jewellery on the runway includes polki, diamonds, ruby, emerald and sapphire stones crafted into wedding necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.
