Team India’s ‘Hitman’ and ODI’s Opening Batsman Cricketer Rohit Sharma got wedded to his beautiful manager-turned-friend-turned girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Sharma proposed her on April 28, 2015 after a long drive from her home in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai to Borivali Sports Club where he first played when he was 11 years old, and therefore, he decided to propose Ritika there as it is a special place for him. They got engaged in June 2015. Rohit and Ritika had enjoyed a friendship of six years before they decided to make things official. It was certainly a majestic marriage ceremony, with celebrities from Cricket and Bollywood world in presence. Weddingplz has brought the complete star-studs wedding in a Blog for its readers to have a look and be a virtual part of RS Weds RS. 🙂

Rohit wore a traditional dress designed by the Designer Raghavendra Rathore (who also designed for Harbhajan Singh) for the wedding and sport a Troy Costa suit at the reception.

The wedding took place at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End – Poolside, Bandstand, Bandra (West) in the presence of Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar, Mukesh and Neeta Ambani with their son and daughter, Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech with mother Shabnam Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, Ravi Shastri, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and a number of other celebrities from the cricketing world.

Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sohail Khan, Bobby Deol, Manish Malhotra, Ameesha Patel, Parineeti Chopra and Sushmita Sen with many more from Bollywood attended the grand wedding ceremony as well.

Shades of blue dominated the wedding shades this time as it is visible that Ritika is dressed in a Navy Blue Lehanga, Ameesha Patel, Parineeti Chopra, Hazel Keech and even Rohit Sharma chose one or the other shade of Blue.

Also, must note that Ambanis organized a Wedding Celebration party for Rohit Sharma and Harbhajan Singh in Mumbai at their residence Antilla on Friday night, where a cluster of Bollywood film star beautified the occasion.

In the Guests list, the name of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is also seen but we could not found any picture of him attending the wedding. Rohit Sharma personally went to invite Modi Ji to bless the couple on their D-Day.

Ritika’s sibling Kunal Sajdeh threw a post-wedding Music and Dance party at the St. Regis Astor Ballroom-Level 9, Near Palladium Mall in Lower Parel, Mumbai on December 14, 2015 and the dress code was kept Indian to show the love and respect towards Indian culture.
