A note from the bride to us !!! 🙂
Hey Weddingplz
First of all thank you so much for letting me plan my own wedding in my own budget. You have given me a long list of vendors including photographers and makeup artist to choose from. My lehangas were also inspired from your boards. Cheers!
Thank you so much Livpreet, we were honoured to help you!! Would look forward to always be of help in all your beautiful occasions to come 🙂 !!!
From the brides mouth!
I am settled in Chandigarh and my husband is an officer with Punjab government. I must say he was the driving force for me to plan a beautiful and close to my heart wedding during January 2017.
So i got to plan my wedding along with my younger sister and brother alone as my parents are in the states. We took almost 4 months to settle the things into our budget. Firstly i always wanted to get married in the front lawns of my ancestral village farm with only family around. And yes, i succeeded in convincing my dad on it. So we planned an affair with around 60 people at my farm house with a very simple Anand Karaj. Whole of the decor and props were planned by me and my sister, executed with the help of local helpers only.
The lehanga- obviously! First place i went to check were Sabyasachi @ New Delhi. Although i had already been there with a friend for her lehanga but this time it was “me” the bride! But trust me!!!! I didn’t feel like spending 3-4 lacs on the dress only when i am cutting costs on venue and decor. So my second visit was directly to the famous karigaars of Ludhiana city. I got them so many photos and samples of my dream pieces and after 2 months of constant working with them on every inch of my lehanga i got it made in 40k only!!!! So my lehanga is an achievement for me <3.
My two sisters and two cousins acted as bridesmaid for me in those beautiful pastel lehangas and my little niece wore same piece as mine!
I hired Procolor photographers, Chandigarh and would also like to thank them for their amazing work.
