The story of our relationship and love is interesting as it is 10 years long. So we took this wise decision to get into the Institution of Marriage. And we planned our marriage in Goa where we fall in love with each other in a vintage house, old and rustic like our love story, a luxury Villa in South Goa, NK Villa, Casa de Sherose. We had always wanted to have our marriage in simple and descent way possible without any old clichés and drama where groom’s family is honoured and given primacy over bride’s family and so on. So we decided to make it as simple not more than 80 people in our guest list so that we can leave a more personal touch that truly reflects our love among our near and dear ones.
Since it was an intercultural marriage therefore we had to follow both cultures and customs and we married twice. My man is North Indian and I am from South India. Though we had cultural difference, everybody enjoyed the cross cultural wedding.
The palatial Hotel was so spacious and we chose the lawn area for the wedding. It was like a country side wedding in the backyard of the house. There was proper arrangements for other guests to stay in hotel close to the villa and had transport in place. It was such a beautiful wedding where people were chilling and cherishing every moment, no outsides, no drama, just aroma of love everywhere and happy times.
The wedding goes for two days, we had Haldi and Sangeet on first day and wedding according to South rituals the next morning, followed by the North Indian wedding at night.
All the arrangements from catering to decoration and many more was done by my Man. He took the responsibilities of all the expenses, I feel grateful for the kind of support received from him. I feel like luckiest person. Actually it was his dream to fulfil my dreams of having grand marriage in Goa, and he did it that way. Therefore he tried to live my dreams, not only supported me as being best Hubby but also helped me coming out from grief of my Father non-existence on my special day and don’t let me feel alone.
He gifted me a fairytale wedding and I found my life i.e You! I can’t help but to fall in love with you forever!
