A White Sand Beach Wedding Beside The Flowing Ganga!

The Arranged-Love Union

Natasha & Shekhar’s was an arranged marriage! Their families knew each other for over a decade but the two never thought it would end up in their union.  However as fate had it, Natasha & Shekhar never crossed paths until their parents decided to set them up. “It was as if we were meant to be together because the cupid struck as soon as we laid eyes on each other. We had a courtship of nine months and by the time of our wedding, we were head over heels for each other”, says Natasha.

The Wedding Celebration

The gala wedding of Natasha & Shekhar took place in Rishikesh with an opulent backdrop of nature. The grand celebration lasted for not just two or three but complete four days with festivities including Haldi celebration, mehndi, ring ceremony and sangeet, followed by a day wedding on the white sand beach beside the flowing Ganga and a post-wedding party in the evening.

Their wedding trousseau was coordinated in peach lehenga and sherwani from Frontier Raas. The bride wore statement pieces that were intricately customised from Tanishq. The loved family & friends were also coordinated in matching peach and gold outfits to serve as bridesmaids and groomsmen. The decor for the wedding got us awestruck as it was loaded with pastel blooms and paired with fabrics in pink, peach and pastel colour scheme and the jaimala stage and the mandap was set on the beach beside the flowing Ganga. The gentle sound of the serene Ganga and the stunning views of the mountains enhanced the charm. Natasha & Shekhar tied the knot in the sacrosanct city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand in a picturesque setting that made for the perfect backdrop for nuptials. The flowing water, light breeze and reverberation of the Vedic chants across the beach – nature herself was blessing the love and union of the two.
