Couturier Abhinav Mishra unveiled his latest collection, The Man in the Mirror, with a stunning solo couture showcase on 18th October 2024 in New Delhi. Known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, Mishra created a breathtaking display, set against a serene, desert-inspired backdrop. His signature mirror work, a hallmark of his designs, was presented in a maximalist style that captured the audience’s attention.

Sara Ali Khan, the Bollywood sensation, closed the show in a bespoke outfit from Mishra’s latest collection. Her ensemble featured intricate floral motifs, lavish mirror work, and sparkling sequins and crystals, which beautifully enhanced the muted tones of the fabric. The silhouette flowed gracefully with regal poise, showcasing Mishra’s attention to detail and mastery of craftsmanship.

Bollywood’s Rising Star

Opening the show was Lakshya, Bollywood’s rising star, who exuded charm in a captivating ivory ensemble from Mishra’s bridal collection. Crafted from pure silk, the outfit boasted minimalistic elegance with tone-on-tone embellishments and subtle mirror work. The intricate patterns were enhanced by a blend of wool and resham, adding warmth and richness to the elegant design.

OTT Sensation

Also walking the runway was OTT sensation Gurfateh Pirzada, who wowed the audience in an ensemble from Mishra’s Kalbeliya collection. His striking black-and-gold outfit, featuring intricate grid patterns and shimmering mirror accents, embodied a contemporary yet traditional flair. The design showcased Mishra’s ability to fuse elegance with bold craftsmanship, creating a perfect balance between opulence and restraint.
