Destination weddings are always interesting and give the nuptials a very picturesque vibe which makes it worthy of all the efforts that go into arranging a wedding that is not in your city of residence.

One such recent destination wedding was that of Vikrant Massey who has been spotted in multiple shows and movies and Sheetal Thakur. They have been lovers for a long time before they finally tied the knot this month. The intimate ceremony took place in Himachal Pradesh which is Sheetal’s hometown and the scenery of the mountains and chilly weather gave the glossy touch to their wedding affair.

Haldi Ceremony

The groom was seen in a white kurta with a Nehru jacket in the ivory shade with a subtle design along with sunglasses for a dapper look and the bride was spotted in an all-yellow organza ensemble paired with flowery accessories.

Mehendi Celebration

The bride opted for a blood orange silk kurta set adorned with flower motifs and thread details with a gold dupatta along with simple gold and pearls Chand maang tikka and necklace. Her hair was nicely done in a wavy style. The grooms’ look was rather warm and cosy with a red high neck sweater and black long overcoat.

Pre Wedding Festivity

Since Sheetal was an adorable pahadi bride, she was made to wear the holy bangles (chooda), anklets and perform the local ceremonies in a Himachali style. Here she is wearing a red salwar suit set with a big golden nose ring, seashell kaleeras And silver anklets.

The Wedding Day

The pheras were performed under a beautifully done mandap of orange and red marigold flowers and the outfits that the couple chose were simple, stunning and elegant. The bride wore a red Anita Dongre lehenga with a tribal kalamkari work paired with traditional gold jewellery and the groom wore a white long golden buttoned sherwani with a red pocket scarf.
