However, keeping the condition in view each state has imposed certain restrictions on weddings and other celebrations and we have tried to lay our hands on the latest guidelines as of the 7th of January 2022. These state-imposed restrictions are dynamic in nature and self-verified at all times yet we advise you to proceed with procuring them at your own risk. Thus, the following article elaborates all you need to know about state-imposed restrictions on weddings due to Covid.

TAMIL NADU

A total number of 50 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM is put in place & shutdown is imposed on Sundays.


DELHI

A total number of 20 people are allowed only at Home or in Court for Weddings. Night Curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM is put in place along with a weekend curfew.


UTTAR PRADESH

A total number of 100 people are allowed in a wedding. Night Curfew is imposed across the state from 10 PM to 5 AM.


MAHARASHTRA

A total number of 50 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew from 9 PM to 6 AM is put in place.


WEST BENGAL

A total number of 50 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM is put in place.


HARYANA

A total number of 100 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew in major districts of Haryana is imposed from 11 PM to 5 AM.


RAJASTHAN

A total number of 100 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM is put in place across the state.


KARNATAKA

A total number of 200 people are allowed at outdoor weddings while not more than 100 guests are allowed at indoor weddings. Night Curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM is put in place across the state.


MADHYA PRADESH

With prior permissions, a total number of 200 people are allowed at weddings. Night Curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM is put in place across the state.


KERALA

A total number of 150 people are allowed at outdoor weddings while not more than 75 guests are allowed at indoor weddings. The state government has not imposed a night curfew as of now.


PUNJAB

Night curfew from 10 PM to 5 am is imposed across the state while the rest of the restrictions are yet to be published by the government.


GOA

People who are either double vaccinated or carry a covid negative report are allowed to enter goa however, no update on wedding restrictions have been reported. Night curfew is also imposed from 11 PM to 5 AM.
