Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive’15 – Style Your Wedding Outfits!

All the style-lovers, the trend-followers, if you are looking for the upcoming trends for wedding attires, here we are with the most happening event of the fashion world – The Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive’15.

A)     For the beautiful Ladies:

1. Lehenga: The most admired and evergreen Indian attire is the Lehenga. So all the smarty girls and beautiful ladies, here are some presented in the event:

a) Subtle color Lehengas : This time variety of colors were portrayed by the designers on the ramp. The stunning golden and green lehenga beautifully embroidered was an eye catching combination. The show-opener – Amy Jackson wore an exceptionally eye-pleasing baby pink color lehenga with an intricate mirror work embroidery, amazingly designed by Anushree Reddy, which defined amalgam of simplicity with modernity completely.

b) Bridal Red color Lehenga: Yes!! You all would be brides one day! The designer – Ridhi Mehra, dazzled the floor by showcasing her beautiful bridal collection… The pretty red lehenga with embroidered choli was a treat to watch. So make it all yours!! 

c) The pretty pink family : Its pink!! Yeah!! So all you girls with pink as favourite, this year Lakme Fashion Week had a treat for you.!. The pink peach one is so elegant. The embroidered choli and falls of lehenga make it extremely beautiful. This year more wow was the combination of pink and orange with an embroidered long anarkali choli. Without avoiding the evergreen trends of wedding collection, designer Soumitra Mondal displayed her designs of short choli and long jacket to give an ice creamy look!

d) The Black Beauties: Is Black your all time favourite? This black-golden lehenga is an awesome definition of elegance and attitude. The sensational actress, Gauahar Khan, stole the show by wearing an amazing black-golden lehenga with a pink cut-work on it designed by Rinku Sobti, heaten up the environment completely. 

2. Saree: What did you say? All you ladies have a soft liking for the traditional Indian sarees… The designers Swati & Sunaina came up with idea of getting the traditional Indian Royal sarees on floor to give an amalgam of tradition and modernity.

This year, this event, had this combination for all the ultra modern ladies with a purely Indian heart. The beautiful light colored saree was one of the most sensational collection of the eve. A blend of the roots of Indian culture with a western and modern tinge of broad buckles on shoulder is what influenced Soumitra Mondal’s collection.

3. Lehenga Saree: The lehenga saree was another style which was attraction of the event. Pink-peach-red beautiful colors in one attire… It seemed all the brightness was brought down to the ramp. The designer Gaurang portrayed his enchanting collection by reinventing the Varanasi heritage… Treat to watch!

4. Cocktail Gowns: This is what girls love to wear to look all the way more attractive and different. White is beautiful! This gown was a combination of golden and white – A sparkling white way!! The princess gowns in different colors were seen in the fashion week. Designer Manish Malhotra came up with an idea of Long necklines in Cream and golden outfit added fire to the hot fashion evening!

Red net with a little embroidery was also a gem in this years’ collection. Pink and golden was one of the admired combinations. Fishes have beautiful eyes but the fish cut gown compelled the viewers to open their eyes the widest.

5. Indo-western: An awesome fusion of Western and sub-continental fashion was beautifully showcased in the show by the designer Ritu Kumar. The shades of reddish-pink were portrayed in amazing varied styles of trouser-saree , dhoti and plazos giving a very classy look to the complete attire.

Not only red but beige, black and creme color also showed their magic on ramp.

6. Suit: Suits are loved by all the girls and ladies and are the most comfortable outfits to pick for an occasion. Designer Arpita Mehta’s mirror work, mesmerized the show differently. Net was the fabric this time. Cream and golden was very ethnic and graceful. The short shirt in pink as dominating shade was somehow lovely giving a touch of indo-western suit.

7. Sharara: Sharara suit in blue and cream was blended in golden. The red and yellow sharara was another beautified outfit of the eve. It seemed as if the colors of spring were spilled over the stage. The western upper and traditional sharara as lower and that too in black designed by Arpita Mehta was a treat to the eye.

B) For the Handsome Men: So now it’s the turn of the handsome dudes to make over.

1. The Dashing Groom:

a) Indian outfits: The designer Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla dominated the floor this time. This cream n golden combination will surely make the muscular aspect of yours come out more handsomely. Men in black? Yes, girls love them. So, guys it could be this embroidered sherwani which would kill many.

Red and golden might be your bride’s shade. So match it up. This one was so ethnic and lovely. Oh oh wait! Keep the male hormones alive. This blue black and golden one will surely do the job for you as a groom. The bright that brightens the groom! This attire kept the Indian brightness alive.

2. The Western Wears: Western wears are all time in the mind of designers. The maroon one was the star attractions of the evening. The designer Manish Malhotra picked the Youth ambassador – Ranbir kapoor as his showstopper. The printed shirt clubbed with a shimmery coat – nothing could beat u up, get dressed this way! The embroidered coat with brown trousers. All the ladies will die of jealousy from the bride on your wedding day. 

White shirt, tie and coat is the most traditional western way. But this beautiful tie with golden touch added to the way. Embroidered coat with slim fit formal pants were the choice of designers. Blue the royal color added to the delicacy. Black tie, black trousers, blue coat and white shirt. Hot indeed!!

2. The Cocktail Look: The checked shirt, checked coat with checked pants, that too in black n grey.. What else do you need for a cocktail? The how and happening – Arjun Rampal walked the ramp for Bugatti collection by wearing a knee length coat in light black-brownish shade, with a v-necked inner – A perfect way to attract the beautiful ladies around. A round neck inner in white clubbed with black waist coat with brown stripes. Hot isn’t it??

To go different in colors, a silky tie under a peach waist coat covered with a brown tail coat(rectangle tail) is a classy yet hot look. Do you love being called cool? This year Lakme Fashion Week defined cool in white and black printed coat over a smart white shirt with black pants. The funk hunk. A brownish orange-T under an ultimate stylish coat combined with brown lined trousers. No one can take off their eyes from you.

The beautiful collection of designers dazzled the floor for all 5 days and set the amazing fashion trend for the year. Just follow the collection and go Trendy this year!
