I was 26 years old and my family was looking for an appropriate match for me.  After going through several Rishta meetings I decided that I had had enough because I always dreamt of  bumping into my prince charming, falling in love and having a dreamy life just like any other Yash Raj movies.

But then after 10 months of me rejecting all potential suitors I finally met Himanshu through a common relative and you know what, it was an instant click.  He was the one for me, my heart gave me signals. You literally go weak at the knees and have butterflies in your stomach even at the mention of his name.

I happened to meet Himanshu when I was going through a very unfortunate phase of my life. I met with an accident and couldn’t walk for 3 complete months. Little did I know that this weird meeting when I can’t even walk would turn into the starting point of this beautiful journey called marriage. I was nervous at first but felt extremely special nonetheless. He did most of the talking and just made me feel really comfortable.And that’s how our relationship has been since.

Soon Himanshu and I started texting, calling and face timing. I was falling for him with each passing day.Our families met and before I knew it, our roka was done. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 months of courtship period.

My husband loves me for who I am, and believes in me even when I tend to doubt myself. Living with him has made me a happier and a much more stable person. I often tell others that I couldn’t have found a better boyfriend, best friend and husband. It’s been 4 and a half months and I just love him more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.
