When a Cambodian-Chinese French man falls in love with a Tamil girl, fireworks are bound to fly. We got the opportunity to plan this beautiful wedding in Taj Vivanta for Anjana and Henri.

 Anjana & Henri Story , they met in UK at Jaguar Landrover where Anjana was working. Henri was consulting there with a French company. Both hit instantly and their journey led to wedding in June 2017.

The Wedding: “I wanted a small wedding with just the right people”, recalls Anjana. Both believe less is more and wanted something minimalistic. Henri had a perfect idea of Indian wedding in colourful hues and full of traditions and rituals. Keeping their personalities in mind, a simple quirky and colourful wedding was planned for the couple.
The Mehandi was setup in rainbow shades with Meenakari umbrellas and matkas. The event saw guests from different cultures and origins participating. The morning wedding was a quiet and simple traditional one in South Indian style. The bride and groom beamed in traditional outfits. The evening reception was more entertaining and fun with chalkboards, personalized gifts for the guests and interesting activities. Even the reception carried the colourful theme with varied paper lanterns and ferry lights.

It is very rare to witness people from different cultures immersing themselves in Indian culture this way. It was a delightful experience to be a part of this wedding.
