Farhan Akhtar And Shibani Dandekar’s Wedding Shenanigans!

Getting married after being in a relationship for a few years has become a very common practice now. It has several benefits like you are aware of your partner’s behaviour, likes and dislikes and everything that’s required to understand each other in a manner that’s sustainable and efficient to an extent. Many Bollywood stars have tied a knot with their loved ones after a few years of being together and one such couple that is now on the list is Farhan Akhtar who has contributed generously to the Indian cinema with his blockbusters such as Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara and Bhag Milkha Bhag. He recently got married to the absolutely stunning and talented Shibani Dandekar. From their journey and what we know of it through social media platforms, it’s evident that they are supportive of each other and make one true pair.

Let’s dive into their wedding shenanigans and the outfits that they chose to go with-

The first of the lot was when the unique red gown was spotted on Instagram. Shibani, like her personality, chose to go with a very subtle, bold and elegant red trail gown with a beautiful net veil from the label Jade by Monica and Karishma and styled by Shaleena Nathani. The colour was a resemblance of the traditional Indian bridal wear mixed with the contemporary gown style and it truly created magic.

The groom went with an all-black tux set by Govinda Mehta and the couple just created an effect that was straight out of a Disney movie.

The next outfit in the bridal trousseau was a very bohemian crop top and palazzo by Payal Singhal and styled by Khyati A Busa, went really well with the whole theme of the mehendi ceremony. The hairdo was a casual soft curl with lots of flower and silver accessories. The overall affair right from the decor to the outfit screamed of vibrancy and a colourful madness in the air. The vibe that was created with the outfit and the party resonated with her inner gypset and was inspired by the couple’s visit to Tulum a few years back. It is a very meaningful idea to have a function designed based on a happy memory of a trip or otherwise.

For the engagement ceremony she wore an embellished sleek shoulder-dropping dress by Gavin Miguel and fine dangler earrings by AS Motiwala.

Shibani wore a pastel pink outfit for her Indian styled wedding ceremony carefully crafted by the all time celebrity favourite designer Anamika Khanna and it was paired with a statement choker necklace and earrings with Kundan and pearls by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas.

The groom wore a Sabyasachi cream three piece set with brown royal juttis and both of them looked well coordinated.
