Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s Unforgettable Wedding Celebration

In a spellbinding celebration of love and togetherness, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha exchanged their vows at The Leela Palace in Udaipur yesterday. Their wedding extravaganza, a mesmerising blend of tradition and contemporary flair, left the world enchanted. Pictures of that intimate wedding are finally out. Let’s have a look.

Breaking away from the traditional red, Parineeti Chopra made a stunning choice for her bridal attire. She opted for an ecru-coloured lehenga with exquisite gold detailing, a creation by the renowned designer Manish Malhotra. The skirt of the lehenga was adorned with intricate 3-dimensional kite-like patterns, crafted using vintage gold thread, nakshi work, and metallic sequins which consumed over 2500 hours of intricate work.

The blouse featured Manish Malhotra’s signature butterfly-inspired neckline and had elbow-length sleeves embellished with pearls. What set Parineeti’s look apart was her unique way of draping the dupatta, elegantly covering both shoulders.

Adding a touch of mystery and allure, Parineeti embraced a net veil. The most intriguing element of her veil was the incorporation of the groom’s name meticulously embroidered in Devanagari script. This personalized touch on her veil is likely to set a trend that many brides will definitely adopt in the future. 

Her jewellery featured uncut Russian and Zambian emeralds, set in an antique finish. What truly stood out was her maang tikka, which deviated from the traditional dainty styles. Parineeti opted for an XXL headpiece, which not only made a bold statement but also eliminated the need for heavy earrings. 

Parineeti’s exceptional taste and discerning eye could be seen in the bespoke Kaliras she adorned. Each motif in the Kaliras unfolded a unique story as Parineeti meticulously selected each element to symbolize her journey with Raghav in a profoundly loving manner.

For her makeup, Parineeti followed the contemporary trend of the “no-makeup look” look, aligning with the understated elegance of her wedding ensemble. She sported a fresh face with a subtle bronzed eye and nude lips, perfectly complementing her gilded lehenga. She proved the beauty of minimal bridal look with her subtle makeup, hairstyle and mehndi. 

Let’s not forget the groom! Complementing the bride’s grace, Raghav Chadha cut a dashing figure in his classic sherwani. Exuding timeless sophistication, his minimalistic attire perfectly matched the ambiance of the occasion.
