    We started the brand in January 2015 as a commemoration to the traditions and culture we inherited since our childhood. With years flying by and the memories fading away, we wanted to preserve the art and craftsmanship of our native region, Mahoba. The creativity dates back over centuries of relentless effort and imagination; therefore, we decided to consolidate and interpret these antiques into our first collection.     We started the brand in January 2015 as a commemoration to the traditions and culture we inherited since our childhood. With years flying by and the memories fading away, we wanted to preserve the art and craftsmanship of our native region, Mahoba. The creativity dates back over centuries of relentless effort and imagination; therefore, we decided to consolidate and interpret these antiques into our first collection. We did borrow a few Victorian silhouettes in reference to the costumes highly influenced by the British presence as in the picture Sir Pratap Singh (who received his knighthood from the British) is seen wearing.

    Hereby, every season we aim to come out with a fresh collection handpicking a thikana or a region whose art and craftsmanship we promote after detailed research and analysis. The idea is to use innovative techniques and furthermore, develop original ones by working closely with the respective weavers and karigars of that particular region. We use khadi block-printing techniques and natural dying too. Our embroideries don’t rust as they comprise pure hand crafted zardozi and gota patti along with resham and the likes. The types of fabric we employ in the garment construction are hand-woven and pure. Hence, any style from our collection can be handed over to generations without having to worry about their wear and tear.
