    My name is Daman Anand. I was born and brought up in Dehra Dun, Uttrakhand. I completed my post graduation in 1989 and briefly worked for Oil Exploration companies. In 1992 I plunged in flower business. I started importing flower bulbs from Hillegom, The Netherlands. I cultivated these flowers at Dehra Dun, which has an excellent climate suitable for growing of flowers. Then some time later, 1997 to be precise, I decided to setup my own flower store in Delhi. In 1992 I plunged in flower business. I started importing flower bulbs from Hillegom, The Netherlands. I cultivated these flowers at Dehra Dun, which has an excellent climate suitable for growing of flowers. Then some time later, 1997 to be precise, I decided to setup my own flower store in Delhi. So Floricall was born at West Punjabi Bagh, a prominent locality in New Delhi. I continued to enjoy retailing till another point of inflection came in my path when I met Alex Frost, who is President of Sunflower Technologies, Los Angeles California based company. The year was 2006 and words like IT and technology were in the air. I was offered the position of Floral Operations Manager at Sunflower Technologies , which I could hardly refuse. I sold Floricall and immediately joined the company working at my home in Delhi and on my own computer. At Sunflower, my vision. broadened. I acquired new skills, made new contacts. I learnt new facts about US flower industry and I enjoyed every moment of it. Then the destiny took another change and I had to leave the job in 2009.
