Based on my rating yes this review is bad and specifically for those who buy memberships and don't show up for a long time. My wife purchased the membership at Celebrity fitness India pvt. ltd on MG Road Gurgaon (Membership form and receipt attached). She was regular till two weeks and later when adrenaline levels dropped and her job demanded her more, she skipped for almost 4-5 weeks.

My wife purchased the membership at Celebrity fitness India pvt. ltd on MG Road Gurgaon (Membership form and receipt attached). She was regular till two weeks and later when adrenaline levels dropped and her job demanded her more, she skipped for almost 4-5 weeks.

Then one sudden day she showed up to push herself on treadmill and she noticed that her card no. BGBPG3921N is not working anymore. When inquired she was told that her membership got transferred to some another girl by some Mr. Vimal Rai working in the gym. He was the same guy who enrolled my wife 7-8 weeks back stating that membership is non transferrable.

They guy showed up at the desk and tried to jusity his act by saying that he transferred the membership as she was not regular (I mean oh wow!). Later he tried to negotiate if she can just walk away with INR 7500 (after paying 18000 initially) leaving the membership at name of Vandana and out of courtesy he will not charge the transfer fee which is INR 3500 (Great, thank you so much)

After arguing with him that it was a non ethical business practice, he stated that if you want to transfer the membership to a person of your choice there will be a charge i.e. INR 3500 but if you chose to stay with Vandana there will be no charge. When asked about his manager contact details and the girl to whom membership was transferred, he refused to share it. However my wife managed to pull off the screenshot from his computer clearly showing membership transferred to other girl without any of her verbal/written consent.

I don't think they care much about the situation as Vimal rai threatened before my wife left from counter quote to quote 'Jo tumse hota hai kar lena'.

I am thankful to my husband for suggesting me this gym. It is one of the best gyms in Delhi. I love the environment of the gym.
