On several occasions, received guidance from other maestros of light music like Messers Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, Rajender and Neena Mehta etc. His repertoire: A versatile light singer, his repertoire has a wide range of great old and new film songs, famous Bhajans, Ghazals, Geet, pop songs etc, apart from hundreds of his own compositions in all these styles. The clarity of diction and deep tenor in his voice have enthralled many a listener in India and abroad. Albums released: T-Series has released his many Bhajan cassettes viz. Devon Ke Dev Shiv Shankar , Wo Hi Ek, Ma Baap ko Mat Bhulna, etc. He has also a couple of other Bhajan albums recorded by other cassette companies.     Amrish Mishra group had no idea what they were getting into when they told us they would be available to sing, play guitar, and give live performance at our wedding and reception. My aunts, uncles, and cousins did a pirate singing number, my 5-year-old cousin tried to give them a few pointers, and there was many a shout for an encore at the end of the night.
