Fairbridge made an open offer to the non-promoters and post August 14, 2012, TCIL is part of Fairfax Group, Canada. Fairbridge is a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited (Fairfax), a Toronto-based financial services holding company with a global presence in insurance and reinsurance and a portfolio of assets in excess of US$30 billion invested worldwide.
