    In this background I was drafted into music by my mother, a student of the Revered Shri Bhimsen Joshi. She treated me to a stint under her tutelage and then put me to train for a brief spell with an Indian Classical music maestro. She then advised me to learn Western Classical Dancing which I later undertook.
