This is completely unacceptable as this card has NOT been designed or created by JOY cards and you have NO right to sell our design to any customer just because we had shared the raw files with you only for Printing purposes.

As you can see in the trailing email. The designs were sent to you only for PRINTING with all specifications mentioned and JOY cards has not contributed in the designing whatsoever and you have NO right to use our designed card and call it your own design and fool the customers.

Request you with IMMEDIATE EFFECT to take out our Personalised and designed card from your album and not sell our design or card In future.

If this continues, we will be forced to take a strict action against JOY cards and will take this up on social media as well as file a case for using our designs and calling it your own

PS- In future, contribute and make your own designs and sell them at such hefty cost, don’t rob someone else’s designs which have been personalised and made with a lot of effort and meaning to each and every element used.

This is completely unacceptable as this card has NOT been designed or created by JOY cards and they have NO right to sell our design to any customer just because we had shared the raw files with them ONLY for Printing purposes.

The designs were sent to them only for PRINTING with all specifications mentioned and JOY cards has NOT contributed in the designing whatsoever and they have NO right to use our designed card and call it their own design and fool the customers.

Every element, every detailing in this card has been personalised as you can also see the number of entourage we had were exactly what was designed on the card..also not missing the long hair which walter has on the front design cover...A lot of effort has gone in the making of this card and some commercialized person is just taking advantage of it and minting money.

We have dropped them an email as we are unable to locate them on social media requesting them with IMMEDIATE EFFECT to take out our Personalised and designed card from their album and not sell our design or card In future.

I would have rated him a "Zero" however, the system doesn't allow me to do that. The rating I give is 1 is because I agree whole heartedly with two reviews over here about bad customer service. Mr. Joe Lewis the owner of Joy cards is an old man probably in his 60s. He looks stressed and doesn't seem to have the energy to deal with pressure of today. Mr. Joe Lewis the owner of Joy cards is an old man probably in his 60s. He looks stressed and doesn't seem to have the energy to deal with pressure of today. My brother and I are graphic designers and hence didn't tax him with our already designed cards in all possible formats. Each time though he messed up the prints of the first draft. Still we were calm as we've seen these things happen in our field of work. Apart from this, he asked us to pay him 9,000/- first up without which he was not ready to even print a sample first draft. Which we paid.


After taking 3 trips too, his designer and he couldnt manage to give us even a decent print. We got the draft rather printed beautifully at one of the dtp centres at the railway station. Finally, out of no choice we asked him, that we wouldn't be able to go ahead with the order and we would like to cancel it and he could keep the Rs. 1000/- as his cancellation fee (that he has printed in bold in his shop). He refused saying he has already brought the material, and cannot give us 8000/- instead he will return only 4ks. He was outright cheating us, we knew that. We didnt give him the order, nor did we sign anywhere. He began to say he didnt have time for us and so on. Utterly, old baniya category behaviour. I was appaled by his behaviour and we told him that if he is Christian, this behaviour of his is so utterly un-christian like. To which he just shrugged off. Which ofcourse means that when he's doing business he keeps aside his Christianity and becomes this shrewed business monster. Anyway, I told my brother that lets keep our side of the Christianity and finally after negotiations he finally agreed to give back Rs. 5000/-. I was insitant on putting up a case on him and even spending money on the lawyer as I earnestly wanted justice (more than the money) and I knew he would only give us a fair hearing if the police and the law interviened. However, my brother decided against it and said since his wedding was coming close, he did not want to bother himself with leagal issues, which I felt was really the wrong. But I had to comply as it was his wedding and his money. Finally we did explain to him from the Christian perspective how wrong he was in doing this. He kept rather quiet just murmuring something. A rather unfortunate incident and a bad example of doing business. I do not wish to put us all catholics into one basket, but from experience, Catholics in Mumbai are not good businessmen.

Conclusion: We have forgiven him from the heart, but we shall keep telling the truth and that is, he is wrong in what he is doing and he should either change his style of business or close it down for the betterment of himself and the people who come to him with hope. If you want a peaceful wedding time, please do not visit Joy Cards, until you read good reviews about his business again. Less
