I started my career as a journalist (writer / photographer) with Times of India. I tasted freedom only when I decided to go independent. Since then there has been no looking back... Advertising, magazines, direct clients, celebrities, exhibitions, workshops, film making and the saga continues.
I did my masters in film making and Photography from Symbiosis Insitute of Mass Communication in 2002, I had a deep impact of FTII Pune as I would assist the students and professors in their film and classes. For 3 straight years, all I did was watch all national and international festival films and do film appreciation courses from NFAI before I did my mastes.
Learning the language of visual communication continued way beyond the classroom as I had the good fortune of interacting with various professors, national and internaltional photographers, editors, directors and professionals in magazines, advertising and cinema, each of whom have left an indelible print in my mind. ... ...Less
